God I had fun last night. We went to Bulwinkle's and it was all you can drink for $5!
INSANITY!!!

Then we went to a karaoke bar and I sang. I got home like at 3AM. I woke up fine for school at 8AM =P

Well, I'm going to First Friday now. I really have to get to that thing people do in college, I forget what it's called. Oh, that's right, studying.

I love it here! I have a bunch of pics I have to put up. School is pretty cool, too. I hope work gets a LOT better! I have two students so far, but I hope to have at least 5 by the end of the month.

I love my major, but I don't know what to do with it. I want to be a financial actuary at a firm, and I hope I do get it. FUCK!!! I don't know what to do...

I will probably get a minor in Finance, but I WANT A MAJOR! It's going to take me about one more year to do that. I don't know if I will do that. Who knows?

I WANT AN INTERNSHIP IN JP MORGAN!! LIKE RIGHT NOW!!!

*sigh* Well, I'm listening to McCain speak. God I hate the elections this year....

Days seem to be going by and I can't get a grasp.

Munchy's Pizza called me for an interview today. I hope to get the job, it will be WONDERFUL!

I'm starting to feel less bad about acquiring a job for a mere 30 days. I don't like that I'm doing it, but I need to do it.

Still, I got a lot of stuff to sell and I'm going tomorrow morning to the Swap Shop, fo sho!

I feel a lot better than I did on Monday. Karaoke tomorrow! WOOT! Let's do this!

Hope everyone going to Metrocon this weekend has a fucking blast! Enjoy for me!

I'm going freaking insane!

I need a job like yesterday, and I don't have one. I mean I REALLY need money so that I have some when I go to FSU.

Furthermore, I'm going to go crazy without a job! It is so boring here!

I mean it's going to be boring at FSU, but at least I can be LOOKING for a PERMANENT job, rather than a 30 day gig. I'm seriously going to faint...

Class is interesting but I can't focus. I'm probably going to go sell stuff tomorrow. So bored...

I'm finally quitting! How many times do I quit jobs? A LOT!!!

SO this is the second time I quit the Herald, and I hope to never ever return!

I'm ready to freaking go! OHHH!!! Also, I'm going to start waiting in line for the iPhone July 9th. The phone is released on July 11th. Hopefully people don't start lining up on July 7th.

I would like to announce that I have been accepted to Florida State University for the Fall 2008 term! SO FUCKING EXCITED!!!

I am in Tallahassee as we read. Cannot wait until I fucking live here. I want to go live at a scholarship house, but if I don't get accepted, it won't be all that bad either. I can also just buy a condo or a townhome and rent it out. It's definitely going to be an experience to look forward to either way.

I got to Tallahasse Sunday night and am staying in Woodrow's house. On Monday, I did a tour of the campus and it is beautiful.

So I've been doing this, and have finally decided on it. I AM QUITTING R.E.G.!

THANK THE FUCKING GODS!!

I am so tired of this bullshit! They cannot stand to my schedule. SO, I have to quit. Thank god. Oh well, too fucking bad for me.

I will be joining the math lab at BCC Central/FAU Campus. I cannot wait for this to occur. I'm only starting with 8 hours a week. That's about $320/mo. Additionally, I will have students to tutor. I have David, which would be about $160/mo. Now, I just got Polly, which will be $160/mo. Also, I will be tutoring Paulie and Miguel, which will be $200/mo. Hopefully, this will be an income of $840/mo. I need just one or two more students. This will be the greatest thing ever!

I will be finally be in my field, even if it's only for 6 months. Can't wait to start!

Well, this is starting to become an everyday thing again.

I'm still waiting on FSU like a retard. AND I JUST GOT THE IPOD TOUCH 32GB!! I'm SO COOL! *poses*

I got a lot of stuff to take care of here at home. I already ironed with by TOBI Steamer, which I highly recommend. Here's what I'm going to do:

Organize my computer desk and living room
Clean the kitchen
Take out the trash
Organize junk in the balcony
Try to plant seeds
Finish Health homework
PLAY DDR!

I got accepted to the University of Central Florida. I'm not as excited as I should be.

One thing, I thought no one was going to accept me due to my Miami-Dade College fiasco. Actually, no. I was pretty assertive that UCF was going to accept me.

Well, that's good news! I guess...

I'm still waiting for FSU to respond. That's the school I've set my sights on going to. I think I'll have a better education over there. Of course UCF wouldn't bad either. Most importantly, I'll be able to take my mom with me because she wants to move to Orlando and actually just landed a job opportunity there.

The only linger in my mind now is reality. I'm actually leaving in August. It brings tears of joy and sadness to my eyes. I'm so happy that I'm finally fulfilling my potential. At the same time, I'm sad to say goodbye to all my friends. I feel pretty distanced now, but I know I'm going to miss everyone.

Well, it's Valentine's Day. So Happy Valentine's Day EvErYoNe! See you all on the flip side.

Omg! Omg! Omg! Omg!

Okay, so I registered today for classes for Winter 2008 term. I'm a little nervous because if I get the transfer I requested for my new job, I will be graduating in May 2008 with my A.A.!!! WOOOOO!!!!!

That would mean that I could apply for FSU this summer. I'm SO excited to be leaving.

At the same time, I have this other opportunity. My friend Roberto has offered me a job at the insurance company where he works. I am extremely glad that I have this opportunity, but don't feel prepared enough to take on this job. I feel that after I've made my transition to Talahassee, I will have enough merit through the college and work experience in court to be eligible for the job.

I know that Ana and Robert are going to immensely help me with creating a professional resume, and I'm going to try to interview for the job, but I really feel that I'm ill prepared.

Maybe I'm putting it too hard on myself. Or maybe I really just want to leave. These are my two options at this point (with an optional 3rd):

1) Transfer within Absolute Video Inc. to Downtown R.E.G. and graduate in May 2008.
2) Get the job with Farmer's Insurance Company and graduate in December 2008.
3) "Worst Case Scenario" (not really, just being comfortable) - Stay in Dependency Court and graduate in December 2008.

I really want option 1 because I want to proceed as quickly as I can. I would DEFINITELY not mind with option 2 because I would be in the field that I'm studying for. Option 3 would just be a waste of time, but it won't be that bad because it's where I will earn the most money.

This is very difficult to type with. I love the innovations that Nintendo is adding to the gaming world. All they need now is a wireless keyboard and will be my new way to surf the web. Before I go, I'd like to say that Sony had a good run, but I think it's going to meet the same fate as Sega just because they were only thinking of creating the most advanced gaming computer system ever created, and forgot about marketing, specifically supply.

I guess it's time to let anyone who is left on my LJ know what is going to happen on Aug 24th, 2006. (but I think I've told everyone who's left on my LJ)

My residency interview is on that date. This Thursday. I'm just counting down the days. There's bad news and worst news.

Well, first off, let me explain. A residency interview is when USCIS determines whether they accept your application, stamp your passport, and become a permanent resident and receive your green card.

The bad news is that there are no current visas available for my priority date because USCIS is a year behind.

The worse news is that because of my arrest for possession of heroin, I could be deported on Aug 24th, 2006. I should've told people sooner, but I just don't like pity.

That's what's up this week. Hopefully, I'll get to post on Friday. Peace out peoples.

This morning, I was working at Starbucks, and I had just come into work.

Between 7:30am - 8:30am, a few kids from Sunny Isles Beach that go to Highland Oaks, wait for the bus at the store. A customer, who's the most obnoxious and evil person that exists, keeps telling us to tell the kids to leave and wait outside or she'll call the District Manager, when she herself has not bought anything. She says that the kids are climbing on the couches, and "kicking the orange around the floor." And that she's complained several times. Val and Gui, my co-workers, and taking orders and making drinks, so Val, my Assistant Store Manager, tells me to talk to the kids to tell them to leave. As I walk over, I know what I'm doing is wrong. I know that I'm supposed to tell that wench and sorry excuse of a woman to go fuck herself and if the kids bother her, to just leave. But I don't, because it's my job to tell the kids to leave.

Is that really how much I'm worth? $6.75/hr + tips? It's pretty sad, and I still regret doing it. I'm thinking up of a plan to give every one of the kids a cup of coffee next time they come in, so it looks like they bought a drink and that bitch can shut up. I hope it works, and that dumb snotty hetero piece of trash can shut the fuck up. Wow, I haven't needed to vent like that in a while. That means things have been going well so far. Ha ha. That's cool! =D

STRANDED IN TAMPA!

I couldn't quit my job cause the person that was supposed to replace me backed out on Tuesday. Well, I guess I'll have to continue to slave over, but I'm gonna try to make everything that I've spent so far. I'm gonna probably be working throughout the whole summer, but hopefully I'll get my helper to work for me by fall. Oh well, that sucks, I know, but whatever.

Growing Up

I'm getting promoted at my job! My boss is being transferred to homestead and I get to keep the route that I help him with now!

I'm gonna be getting paid A LOT of money per week, and I'm so excited, cause I'll finally be able to reach my goals of paying off my debt and moving to my own property! =D

Yet with every reward, there is much sacrifice.

I'm going to have to work every single night of the week. No days off, until I find someone that can cover me for 2 days, but that won't be for another 5 or 6 months, cause I would have to gain trust with that employee.
This kills my social life (like I had one to begin with), but still, I'll have no leisure time. Most of my time will be absorbed by work, and the remaining time will be for school when I start in May, if I have the time and effort to go.
Finally, I'm going to have to let go of all my math tutoring students. I feel really bad about this one, cause my students and I were starting to bond, and now I have to let them go. I hope they're parents will understand.

But I'm not going to let this opportunity go. I have to strive for this, because this is an opportunity that doesn't happen everyday. I'm going to take advantage of this and make sure I succeed. I'm so excited, nervous, scared, thrilled that I'm going to have my own Miami Herald single copy route.

I don't even know why I'm posting this here, come to think of it...

OH YEA! I went to an immigration protest, and there's going to be one on Saturday at Bayfront Park at noon!
